Why have you chosen your sport and how long you have been doing it?
I started triathlon at the age of 19, when I finished with finswimming. Triathlon was already a life challenge for me at that time, and above all, I had a vision that I would be able to do it professionally and for the rest of my life. I am now fulfilling this and I am very grateful to all those who make it possible for me to do so.
What motivates you to compete? What is your why?
If we look at the more important side of motivation, which is intrinsic motivation, I can honestly say that I feel I was born for endurance sports. Even as a child, I was driven down this path, and that path found me anyway. I love pushing my limits and moving forward. It's my purpose in life.
Why INFINIT?
For me, Infinit is a ticket to the highest level of sports nutrition. I was convinced by its quality and especially the absorbability of all the products. Once I tried Infinit, I was completely hooked on this nutrition. Even sports nutrition has its limits, and Infinit has convinced me that it hardly has any.
Any recommendations or sport hacks that you would like to pass to the athletes in your sport?
My biggest "hack" is probably no secret. I have a good mindset for triathlon. Everyone is always working on the details of training and how to move forward. But few people work on their mental attitude, because they don't work with the fact that it is the mind that is the decisive factor in the path to success. And it is precisely the head and working with it that is my hack. I would recommend athletes not only to work on training, but also to work on themselves. Don't think of yourself as numbers in a table, but as a being with emotions and feelings. And those are very important.
Which INFINIT product you like the most and why?
I definitely can’t say which, but I have got one favorite training product. It's my “custom” Go Far, which I hope will be available to others as soon as possible.
Your motto or the best motivation line for the start of the week that gets you going?
When you still feel pain, it's great. It means you're still alive and you can improve at anything. Your limit is only your mind, and the word 'can't' is not in my vocabulary.
